Let Charter One handle day-to-day implementation of the processes, procedures and policies of your school. We’ll work under the direction of your charter school’s Board of Directors.

Charter One has a knowledgeable, friendly, certified HR team that stands ready to help with any and all questions about staffing. Finding great team members for your school is one of the most important tasks. We know this and we make it a top priority. The Human Resources department of Charter One oversees the functions of recruitment, compensation, benefits and HR compliance for all client schools. Adapting to the needs of each site, HR works to ensure school leaders have the necessary tools and resources regarding industry best practices to successfully performance manage and lead. From the beginning stages of recruitment and managing candidate applications to on-boarding and training, HR assists and advocates for both the employee and business through each stage of the employment life cycle. More specifically Human Resources takes a consultative approach to performance management and provides feedback to hiring managers through the coaching and off-boarding process as needed. From a tactical standpoint, HR takes an active role in the administration of all benefit programs, including health, FMLA, and retirement, as well as other compliance driven initiatives such as workers compensation, policy and procedure development, and creation of the employee handbook.

Events, print, and digital marketing campaigns are all important parts of a comprehensive, effective marketing effort for a charter school. Charter schools don’t have the benefit of being the default educational provider, so getting the word out about your school effectively is extremely important. Charter One understands this and has pursued a strategy that has garnered interest lists in excess of 400% of a school’s capacity before approval of its application.
